Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support master data needs across multiple business units. You will prioritize requests, manage data review and entry, and provide governance. The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and business teams to deliver timely data solutions.

You will build governance content, create training materials, and provide data insights through metrics. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, HR, or CS or equivalent
• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in Retail or IT
• Experience with Data Governance/Administration preferred
• Ability to document Merchandising, IT or Finance workflows and requirements
• Ability to translate business needs for non-technical and technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of productivity software (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and primary contact for multiple business units across the organization
• Analyze data to troubleshoot issues and provide insights for business visibility
• Become the subject matter expert for Supplier, Org, and Location Master data
• Maintain governance and process documentation and training materials
• Manage workflow and data change requests in the Master Data Management system
• Identify and propose process improvements to better service the business
• Ensure compliance with governance standards and escalate non-compliant requests
