Qualifications

• 7–10 years post college experience, preferably with a top-tier consulting firm or retailer.
• Experience in retail, operations, business analysis, and continuous improvement strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Technical proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python).
• Experience with labor planning or payroll analytics preferred; MOST labor standards experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, development, implementation, and measurement of operational improvement initiatives.
• Analyze complex operational, labor, payroll, and business data to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools.
• Serve as SME on store labor and payroll models; support maintenance and optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to define requirements for reporting tools.
• Conduct financial and operational impact analyses, including ROI assessments.
• Monitor retail industry trends and new technologies for innovation.
• Develop decks and communications to leadership about insights and outcomes.
• Support change management with training materials and process docs.
