Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join the Global Analytics & Decision Sciences (GADS) team in Norman, Oklahoma. This hybrid role involves exploring business questions, preparing data, and building reports and visualizations to support decision-making.

You will gain exposure to multiple business areas, including Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Pricing, while developing analytical and AI concepts and collaborating with experienced analysts and data scientists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Foundational SQL experience from coursework or internships.
• Foundational Python or R experience.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of Excel for data analysis.
• Understanding of descriptive statistics and data validation.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand business questions and document requirements.
