Hitachi Vantara seeks a Sr. Data Scientist to join the Global Analytics & Decision Sciences (GADS) team within the Finance organization.

You will analyze diverse data sources, build advanced analytics, and drive data-driven decision-making across functions such as services, sales, marketing, and product management. The role emphasizes statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and leading AI/ML initiatives, with collaboration across stakeholders and mentorship of junior team members.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years as a Data Scientist or similar.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with data engineering experience.
• Experience with ML techniques and statistical analysis.
• Experience with diverse data sources and reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical needs and translate into data/analytics solutions.
• Provide leadership in advanced analytics and modeling to solve business challenges.
• Synthesize insights across financials, forecasts, products, geography, and customers.
• Design scalable data solutions using Python/SQL, SQL Server/Oracle, AWS, and Power BI.
• Lead AI/ML initiatives and scale capabilities across the team.
• Mentor junior team members and present insights to management.
