Job summary

Metro Customs Brokers, a subsidiary of Omnitrans Inc., seeks a Customs Regulatory Advisor to join our Regulatory & Consulting Services in the US Customs Brokerage division. You will provide exceptional customs consulting services to clients while ensuring compliance with regulations, submit reconciliations, and prepare post summary corrections and protests.

You will also review AMS data requests, conduct regulatory research, and advise on class and tariff issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of comparable Customs Operations experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Thorough understanding of International Business and trading practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and counsel to Importer customers regarding Customs and trade practices.
• Resolve customer complaints and disputes (tariff classification, claims, etc.).
• Conduct research on customs regulatory issues and provide proper opinions on classification and tariff treatment; update customer profiles.
