Job summary

Protolabs is hiring a Customer Success Partner in Maple Plain, MN. The role starts with a five-day on-site training, then becomes a HYBRID position with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday in Maple Plain.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm, focusing on delivering high-quality service by phone and email while guiding customers from idea to production. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in customer service, strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work
• Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in building positive relationships
• Clear, open communication style and teamwork
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new technologies
• Professional, friendly phone presence with clear, confident communication
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues

Responsibilities

• Review and validate customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and manage customer orders and learn order workflows
• Reconcile and verify customer payments and resolve discrepancies
• Serve as a central liaison across departments and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate customer records and support data reporting
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email and route to proper teams
• Provide responsive, professional support to customers
