Job summary

Catholic Charities Boston is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support the Community Interpreter Services program in a busy office. You will enter appointments, process client data, and coordinate interpreter scheduling while maintaining high quality customer service.

Responsibilities include handling translation requests, preparing quotes, supporting billing, and ensuring records are accurate. The role offers hybrid/remote work options and opportunities to grow in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years in a busy office, or an Associate degree with one year of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom and Teams; Atrium scheduling software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent English; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter new appointments and client information into the scheduling system.
• Handle translation requests and prepare quotes with translators to meet deadlines.
• Schedule interpreters and input data; respond to calls and messages.
• Maintain accurate interpreter timesheets and support billing/payroll processes as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist with invoices and payments when necessary.
• Ensure database information is current and assist with quality control after assignments.
