Job summary

Copeland in Boise, ID is hiring a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for Cargo Solutions customers throughout the order lifecycle. The role focuses on accurate order entry, timely status updates, and resolution of inquiries while collaborating with Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in customer service or order entry, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service, order entry, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and promptly through order management systems.
• Review, validate, and approve orders created by customers or team members.
• Generate and distribute order acknowledgments and confirmations.
• Create customer quotations and support the quote-to-order process.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, pricing, shipment status, and ordering requirements.
• Provide timely and professional communication regarding order status, delays, and resolutions.
• Support customers utilizing online ordering platforms and self-service tools.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, data issues, and customer concerns.
• Maintain customer, product, and order-related master data and documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Finance to ensure orders are fulfilled and invoiced accurately.
• Follow up on open orders to ensure timely shipment and completion.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and transactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
