Job summary

CFS is partnering with a growth-minded client to add a Customer Service Representative who will own the order experience from entry through shipment and invoicing. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) in Shelton offers a $50,000–$66,000 annual range plus bonus eligibility, a laptop, and home office supplies.

You will collaborate with customers, distributors, and sales teams, manage ERP entries, and drive proactive communication to ensure timely, accurate orders and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years in customer service, order management, or inside sales in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience in construction materials, industrial products, or manufacturing is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for orders, product availability, pricing, and shipment status.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately within the ERP.
• Review purchase orders for completeness and pricing accuracy.
• Coordinate order changes, cancellations, returns, and credits.
• Monitor open orders and proactively communicate delays to customers and sales.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in the company system.
• Prepare and distribute customer reports and order confirmations.
