Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in San Diego to support orders, billing adjustments, and related transactions. You will use SAP and Excel to process activities and ensure accuracy.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment with onsite Tuesdays.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, with at least 2 years in customer support or order management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer support or order management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, credits, rebills, billing adjustments, and related review or release transactions.
• Support customer, regional, and country-specific business requirements as assigned.
• Provide inquiry and email support to internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring requests are addressed promptly, accurately, and professionally.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business requirements and timeline commitments are met.
• Proactively communicate issues, risks, roadblocks, and status updates to appropriate stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage case assignments and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up activities.
• Perform and document validations within SAP ERP and Excel reports as assigned.
• Exercise sound judgment to identify issues requiring escalation and engage appropriate teams or management to ensure timely resolution.
• Clearly communicate resolutions, recommendations, and next steps to customers and internal partners.
• Apply established policies, procedures, and business practices to make informed decisions and determine appropriate actions.
