Standard Textile is seeking a detail-oriented Credit and Collections Representative to manage customer accounts, collect receivables, and resolve payment issues. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, ensuring policy compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service across the Credit & Collections Department.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve account issues, negotiate payment arrangements, and monitor aging analyses.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable principles, credit terms, and collection practices.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE/E1) is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Contact customers via phone/email regarding overdue accounts and payment status.
• Process customer payments and update account information; reconcile balances.
• Maintain detailed records of customer contacts and collection efforts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate complex accounts when needed.
• Adhere to credit and collection policies and comply with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance for issue resolution.
