Job summary

KVC Health Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to oversee onboarding, credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for medical and therapy providers. You will ensure 100% compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state Medicaid standards, supporting clinical safety and revenue integrity.

We emphasize wellbeing with a Work Wellbeing Score of 86 and offer a hybrid work schedule with in-office collaboration two days per week.

Qualifications

• Onboarding and credentialing processes
• Communication and discretion in handling confidential information
• Knowledge of credentialing best practices and standards (TJC/NCQA)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate across HR, clinical, and billing teams

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for providers
• Perform primary source verification of licenses, registrations and board certifications
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state Medicaid standards
• Coordinate renewal of licenses and insurances using a 60-90 day notification protocol
• Prepare credentialing packets for Medical Executive Committee and Governing Board

Education

High School diploma

Bachelor’s degree in HR or Healthcare Administration
