Job summary

Careington International Corporation in Frisco, TX is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing and re-credentialing for dentists, physicians and counselors within Careington networks. Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare credentialing or related administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with providers and staff.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve credentialing issues.
• Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing & Re-Credentialing: collect and verify credentials (licensure, certifications, malpractice, education, work history).
• Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for timely completion.
• Ensure documentation meets Careington requirements and regulatory standards.
• Primary Source Verification: verify licensure, board certifications, education, and malpractice history using CAQH, NPPES, AMA, etc.
• Provider Data Management: maintain accurate provider records and up-to-date credentials.
• Communication: be the point of contact for credentialing status and document requests.
• Problem Resolution: address discrepancies to prevent delays in provider participation.
• Team Support: collaborate with team members and other departments.
