Job summary

Wheels, Inc. seeks a Paralegal II to support the corporate legal department with contracts, governance, compliance, and litigation management. You will draft and review agreements, manage contract workflows, and assist with regulatory matters while mentoring junior paralegals.

You will collaborate across departments, support entity management, and help strengthen legal processes in a fast-paced environment. This role supports hybrid work in Illinois or Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, or related field preferred.
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required.
• 8+ years of paralegal experience, with at least 3 years supporting a corporate in‑house legal team.
• Experience with contract management, corporate governance, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate routine contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements) under attorney supervision.
• Maintain contract management systems, track key terms, and ensure contract obligations.
• Assist in implementing and improving contract workflows and playbooks.
• Entity management and preparation of corporate documents; assist board/committee meeting prep.
• Support compliance monitoring programs and data privacy/regulatory efforts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel; manage litigation matters.
