Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Corporate Paralegal in a hybrid role based in East Dubuque, IL area. You will review customer and vendor contracts, conduct legal research, and assist with negotiations and correspondence through the contract lifecycle.

You will maintain filings, support shareholder records, and contribute to enterprise risk management, while staying aware of evolving AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in daily work.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal certification; other appropriate educational background and experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of experience supporting the contract review function.
• Experience working within commercial, for-profit company is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with Sales, Finance, Supplier Management, Senior Management, and outside attorneys through contract lifecycle.
• Oversee agreement process through final signature.
• Renew and maintain business entity filings and related duties.
• Support recording of shareholder stock transactions and distributions.
• Prepare information and spreadsheets for annual insurance renewal and risk management.
• Collaborate with legal counsel for litigation documentation and responses.
• Attend department and company meetings as required.
• Maintain awareness of evolving AI technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.
