Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co. is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support contract review, drafting, and negotiations for customer and vendor agreements. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and leadership to navigate the contract lifecycle from intake to final signature.

Key responsibilities include maintaining business filings, assisting with shareholder transactions, and supporting risk management and litigation documentation. A strong ML/AI awareness is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal certification; other appropriate educational background and experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of experience supporting the contract review function.
• Experience working within a commercial, for-profit company is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Sales, Finance, Supplier Management, and senior management through contract intake, negotiation, and finalization.
• Oversee agreement process through final signature.
• Renew and maintain business filings including annual permits, licenses, and SOS filings.
• Provide backup for recording shareholder stock transactions and distributions.
• Assist with insurance renewals and enterprise risk management tasks.
• Support litigation documentation and responses with legal counsel.
• Attend department meetings and events as required.
• Maintain awareness of evolving AI technologies to improve efficiency and AI fluency.
