Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking a Corporate Counsel in Atlanta to support a broad range of corporate matters including intellectual property, real estate, and procurement contracts.

You will collaborate with a variety of internal teams and outside counsel to deliver practical, business-focused legal guidance across a global organization. The role requires a JD, bar membership in good standing, and 5-8 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to analyze legal issues, exercise sound judgment, and provide business-minded advice.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AI-related contracting issues and cross-border matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal research, analysis, drafting, and practical advice on corporate matters and strategic projects.
• Support intellectual property, corporate real estate, procurement, and technology contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial agreements.
• Assist with data protection and privacy matters in contracts and corporate matters.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and training materials; coordinate with internal and external partners.
