Job summary

JCW Group is partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire an experienced In-House Corporate Counsel in Atlanta. The role focuses on counseling across commercial contracts, procurement, IP, litigation management, and employment matters in a global, matrixed environment.

The position requires a JD and active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with roughly 4–8 years of in-house experience.

Qualifications

JD degree and active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
4–8 years of relevant in-house experience at a large financial institution.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Ability to analyze issues and provide clear, business-oriented advice.
Ability to learn new subject areas, manage priorities, and collaborate globally.
Experience in IP, corporate real estate, procurement, litigation, privacy or data protection preferred.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate procurement and commercial agreements.
Support IP matters, including trademarks, licensing, and confidentiality.
Provide leases, amendments, renewals, and facilities-related agreements support.
Review AI-related contracts and manage data use, IP, and risk issues.
Assist with non-fund litigation, disputes, subpoenas, and investigations.
Offer privacy/data protection guidance in contracts and corporate matters.
Develop templates, playbooks, training materials, and cross-functional collaboration.
