Job summary

Origin Staffing is partnering with a well-established company to hire an Accounting Manager for the corporate accounting team in Lexington, MA. This role offers mentorship, hands-on leadership, and the opportunity to broaden scope over time, including supervising staff and potentially payroll oversight.

You will lead month-end close, GAAP reporting, and coordination with external auditors, while partnering with leadership to improve accounting workflows using automation and AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Hands-on GL, month-end close, financial statement prep.
• Experience supervising staff and communicating with leadership.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead core accounting and close activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Prepare financial statements and meaningful reporting with GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate external audit with auditors and manage schedules.
• Develop people, mentor staff, and collaborate with AP/AR/finance/operations.
• Drive process improvements with internal controls and automation.
