Global Asset Management firm, headquartered in Boston, seeks a Corporate Accountant for its Finance Operations team. You will assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and processing of payments, while managing payable/receivable ledgers and supporting annual audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with AP, AR, or GL Accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and related systems.
• Interest in growth and promotion within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly reconciliations and support the accounting team during month-end close.
• Assist in year-end closing activities including the annual audit.
• Responsible for journal entry preparation, invoice review, management of payable / receivable ledgers.
• Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and contracts as needed.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhance workflows.
