MSS, Inc. in Montgomeryville, PA, is seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant to report to the Chief Financial Officer.

You will oversee accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting across MSS’s Relocation Support, Precision Packaging and Crating, and Pure Install divisions. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid work arrangement and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of corporate or public accounting experience required.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central preferred.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting for three divisions.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, allocations, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts; ensure accuracy.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close; meet deadlines.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for CFO and leadership.
• Coordinate with HR on payroll changes and 401(k) contributions.
• Assist external auditors with annual audit prep.
