Job summary

JVM Management, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant to own the accounting for corporate entities at its Oak Brook office. You will manage journal entries, lead the monthly/annual close, administer the corporate card program, and deliver the recurring financial reporting package to leadership.

Role requires 2+ years of corporate accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with department heads on reporting and variance analysis. Hybrid schedule with 1 day/week WFH is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting contracts and budgets.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for corporate entities and maintain audit-ready ledgers.
• Own month-end and year-end close, including accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, and intercompany allocations.
• Report on corporate operations with variance analysis and budgeting support.
• Calculate and report monthly management fee revenue.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Administer corporate credit card program and cost allocation.
• Review and code vendor invoices for approval.
• Support PowerBI reporting and the corporate reporting package.
