MSA Safety Inc. in Cranberry Township, PA, seeks an Associate or Intermediate Accountant to join a close-knit finance team and support monthly close, consolidation, and SEC reporting processes.

You will prepare journal entries, assist with 10-Q/10-K disclosures, analyze regional statements, and help implement new accounting standards while collaborating with FP&A, Tax, and Audit teams. A Bachelor's in Accounting is required; CPA or in-progress preferred, plus strong Excel and SAP/Oracle

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist monthly, quarterly close and consolidation processes, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare and analyze consolidation, lease accounting, intercompany eliminations, and other closing entries.
• Assist in preparing Forms 10-Q and 10-K with footnote support and schedules.
• Review regional financial statements and provide analytic summaries for internal controls.
• Support process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
