Job summary

King County is seeking a Conveyance Program Manager / Infrastructure Coordinator to oversee system-wide conveyance capital and operating projects. You will act as SME, linking planning and frontline operations, guiding multi-million-dollar assets from pre-design to activation and hand-off across the utility network.

The role emphasizes collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and driving efficient project sequencing within a hybrid work model at King County’s South Treatment Plant in Renton, WA.

Qualifications

• Experience with wastewater utilities, public works, infrastructure, design, construction, project control systems, mechanical systems, and/or asset replacement or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including facilitating discussions, writing reports, and presenting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Conveyance SME on core program teams, bridging engineering/delivery with frontline staff.
• Assist long-range facilities planning and sequencing to minimize operations disruption during construction.
• Review plans, designs and procedures for capital and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders from inception to completion to meet requirements and criteria.
