Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants in Washington state seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects in a dynamic consulting setting. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, strengthen partnerships, and deliver practical solutions that ensure long-term water reliability.

Hybrid work arrangement with two days per week in the office supports collaboration while maintaining flexibility. PE license in WA or ability to obtain within six months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 7+ years of water/wastewater project management experience.
• PE license in Washington or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and Kennedy Jenks offices.
• Preferred: site civil design, technical writing, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction support while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and delivery.
• Oversee engineering deliverables including plans, specs, estimates, documents, contracts and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to address questions and issues.
• Work with in-house design teams across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Monitor financials, milestones, risks, and resource needs; adjust as needed.
• Lead client communications, meetings, and presentations to strengthen relationships.
• Support proposal strategies, scopes, budgets, and interview teams.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in hiring and recruitment.
