Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our East Tennessee manufacturing team in a hybrid role. The engineer will design and implement control systems for industrial equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA, ensuring reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with project teams to define requirements, program and test controls, and support maintenance for continuous operations. A BS in EE and hands-on PLC/SCADA experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or related field required.
• Proven experience in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for industrial processes.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI systems.
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems; test and debug thoroughly.
• Integrate control systems with overall machine design and supervise performance.
• Monitor control system data, identify improvements, and propose solutions.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams.
