Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls and Automation Engineer to join our Knoxville, TN team. You will develop PLC programs and configure HMI interfaces, and contribute to validation and test documentation for manufacturing support.

You will assist with FAT and SAT activities and provide on-site commissioning support as needed, while writing clear Operation and Maintenance manuals. We offer full benefits, a generous 401(k) match, PTO, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC programming and project support.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Familiarity with HMI interfaces and validation testing.

Responsibilities

• Produce PLC programming and configuration of the operator interface (HMI).
• Create validation documentation and test documentation for project/manufacturing support.
• Assist with pretesting and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
• Provide remote support for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Remotely assist with on-site commissioning activities, troubleshooting, and field support.
• Write instructions for Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
• Provide support for aftermarket change and upgrade requests.
