Job summary

Cybertrol Engineering is seeking an Industrial Controls & Systems Integration Engineer to design and implement PLC/HMI code, perform simulations, and support site commissioning across manufacturing facilities.

You will work with Digital Manufacturing, Hardware, and Industrial IT teams to deliver comprehensive projects, guiding junior engineers and ensuring zero-defect software through systematic testing and commissioning. A strong customer-facing role with travel is involved.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in industrial automation.
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology with 5+ years in industrial automation.
Technical leadership capability to guide and coach team members on complex projects.
Proficient in programming and delivering projects in a team environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Curiosity and agility in problem solving when presented with a new challenge.
Focus and tenacity when given a challenge to see it through.
Goal oriented with the strong desire to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC/HMI code, including simulation and commissioning.
Collaborate with Digital Manufacturing, Hardware, and Industrial IT engineers to deliver projects.
Create clear Functional Specifications and PLC/HMI programs as part of a team or lead.
Engage with customers to understand needs and maintain contact through projects and commissioning.
Provide technical leadership and system-level problem-solving across projects.
Lead commissioning across multiple disciplines and ensure quality deliverables.
