Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our Seattle-based Legal team. You will own the day-to-day administration, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements that support our customers, vendors, and partners—ranging from enterprise SaaS subscriptions to data licensing and procurement contracts.

You will work closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, Product, and Revenue Operations to keep quote-to-cash and contract workflows moving efficiently, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant contracts experience in software/SaaS or technology industries.
• Knowledge of standard commercial contract language including SaaS terms, licensing, data protection, indemnification, and limitations-of-liability.
• Experience with leveraging AI tools to solve contract review and analytics and to create efficient contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contracting for SaaS subscriptions, data licensing, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, procurement and partner agreements, and NDAs.
• Draft, redline, evaluate, and negotiate contracts per policy and risk tolerance, including AI-assisted workflows.
• Review terms and conditions, assess risk, and propose positions that protect the company while enabling deal velocity.
