Job summary

RK&K is hiring an Assistant Contract Support Specialist to join our North Florida CEI team. You will support FDOT transportation construction projects and contracts across the region, handling contract changes, pay estimates, and documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with submittals, meeting minutes, reports, and contractor communications, while ensuring compliance with FDOT procedures. Hybrid work options are available and competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred for related field.
• Experience with secretarial/clerical tasks and data management.
• Familiarity with project procedures and FDOT-related duties.
• Proficiency in common office software and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Contract Support Specialist and CEI with communications, submittals, meeting minutes, and documentation from pre-construction to final acceptance.
• Prepare reports and correspondence; coordinate with contractors, project team and stakeholders.
• Plan and coordinate with contractors for contract compliance and project reporting.
• Monitor costs and support negotiations for contract modifications; track pay estimates and invoices.
• Assist in processing contract changes as field work orders and supplement agreements; support project schedules and budgets.
