Imperial Brady, a leading North American distributor, has a Contract Compensation Analyst role available in North Bergen, NJ reporting to the Director of Compensation. This is a hybrid position with 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

The analyst will evaluate and analyze compensation elements of our total rewards package to ensure a competitive and equitable program and will assist in developing and implementing compensation programs that align with the company’s business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is required or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of broad-based compensation experience including market pricing, job evaluation, compensation analysis, and FLSA classification reviews.
• Proficiency with compensation market pricing and survey tools such as Salary.com CompAnalyst or comparable benchmarking platforms.
• Knowledge of compensation practices for hourly and salaried employees across multiple job families and levels.
• Hands-on involvement with HRIS compensation modules including configuration, testing, maintenance, and process support (Dayforce preferred).
• Strong quantitative, qualitative, and research methods knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Ability to handle sensitive HR information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in North Bergen, NJ office 3-4 days a week with 1 day remote.

Responsabilités

• Conduct competitive compensation analysis to determine classification and salary ranges using market survey data and internal equity.
• Review and recommend salary placements for hires, promotions, and market adjustments with HRBP and Talent Acquisition guidance.
• Perform FLSA exemption testing and apply wage and hour regulations for compliance.
• Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data for internal and external competitiveness.
• Assist with year-end compensation processes including merit, incentives, data audits, and communications.
• Assist with variable pay design, analysis, payment calculation, and budget modeling.
• Assist with executive compensation projects such as administering long-term incentive plans and equity management tools.
