Job summary

US Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Contract Closeout Analyst to support a DOT client in a HYBRID role. The candidate will ensure timely and accurate closeouts of government contracts, reconcile obligations and costs, and prepare final invoices while terminating subcontracts and POs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of closeout or financial analysis experience, plus PRISM familiarity, FAR knowledge, and strong Excel skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of contract closeout or financial analysis experience.
• Experience with PRISM.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it applies to contracting and procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost and price analysis to determine final closeout costs for contracts.
• Review and update financial and administrative files to ensure FAR-compliant closeouts.
• Coordinate with project managers to confirm requirements and document submissions.
• Prepare and submit final invoices for the closeout process with proper coding and approvals.
• Review contract modifications and adjustments and maintain documentation.
• Ensure timely termination of subcontracts and purchase orders and resolve open issues.
• Ensure custody and disposition of government property is in compliance with regulations.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
