Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter, Construction PL, to join our Specialties Construction team on a hybrid schedule. The role can be based at any Zurich office in our South or Western regions.

The position will be filled at either level based on experience and qualifications. You will handle complex Construction Professional Liability accounts and act as a subject matter expert within Zurich's Underwriting Team, collaborating with

• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and insurance laws.
• Experience with quotes for new and renewal business.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors (agents & brokers) and customers to identify needs and provide solutions.
• Provide guidance to lower level associates as needed.
• Support sales culture by serving as a Help Point for agents, brokers and customers.
