Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for construction projects in the Welkom, Free State area. You will oversee planning, budgeting, site operations, contractor coordination, and quality control to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Civil/Architecture and at least 6 years of PM experience in construction, with strong leadership and communication skills. A hybrid work model is offered, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Civil Eng, or related field.
• 6+ years in construction project management.
• Experience with MS Project or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with resources and procurement strategies.
• Supervise site operations and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth workflow.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and apply corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients.
