Placements24 client in Welkom, Free State is seeking a Project Management Assistant Trainee to support project managers across planning, execution and close-out activities. You will gain exposure to project lifecycles, stakeholder communication, and resource coordination in a growing construction and development firm.

The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration and remote days, mentorship from experienced PMs, and structured training to build a strong foundation in project

Formación

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn project management principles.
• Comfortable in a hybrid office environment in Welkom.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Track project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and services for projects.
• Organize and schedule project meetings and site visits.
• Prepare presentations and status updates for project stakeholders.
• Learn and utilize project management software and tools.
• Support the close-out process of projects, including documentation and lessons learned.
