Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking a Project Coordinator in Reston, VA to organize and manage project setup, schedules, and deliverables. You will support project teams with coordination duties, QA/QC, reporting, and file maintenance, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after initial training and up to 10% travel.

The ideal candidate has construction experience, solid technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction management-related services is preferred.
• Solid project development/management experience; certification in project management is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead assigned project activities.
• Draft and submit contracts to clients and follow-up on job execution as the project progresses.
• Develop and submit monthly invoices, assist with billing projections, and status of contracts.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders and service orders.
• Process Accounts Payable and manage status.
• Maintain accurate accounts of each work order or proposal sent to the client including value, site, and description with probability to win, date, and follow-up log.
