Job summary

GFT is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team in the Philadelphia area. This role requires leading owner-agent construction management and inspection across multiple projects with a focus on schedule, budget, and safety.

You’ll manage field personnel, coordinate with teaming partners, and guide change orders, RFIs, and reporting while developing procedures and ensuring constructability and value engineering.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years’ experience
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
• Manages construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
• Negotiates and approves construction change orders.
• Responds to Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Prepares proposals and presentations.
• Prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets.
• Prepares and issues reports and correspondence.
• Approves quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
• Approves construction payment applications.
• Resolves technical issues.
• Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
• Leads Risk Management assessments.
• Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures.
