Job summary

GFT is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team in the Philadelphia area. We oversee construction phases to ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and with the highest safety and quality standards.

The role involves acting as Owner Agent, coordinating field personnel, managing schedules and budgets, and leading risk, quality, and value engineering efforts. Strong communication, broad construction knowledge, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of construction management experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects.
• Manage construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
• Negotiate and approve construction change orders.
• Respond to RFIs and prepare proposals and presentations.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets; issue reports.
• Approve quantities for payment; approve payment applications.
• Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering.
• Lead risk management assessments; develop QC/QA plans.
