GFT is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services Team in Philadelphia. The role blends remote scheduling with on-site field work, focusing on quality control and adherence to plans and specifications.

Ideal candidates have experience in highway/building trades and an eye for safety and accuracy, with a collaborative mindset to work with engineers, managers, and field staff. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• ACI, NICET, and/or NECEPT certifications.
• Equivalent combinations of experience and/or training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection to assure contractors build a quality construction project.
• Ensure plans, specifications, standards and QC plans are adhered to.
• Meet with Project Engineer/Manager daily to receive instructions.
• Complete PSAs and work sheets daily.
• Request assistance for inspection of materials and workmanship.
