GFT is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team in the Philadelphia area. We oversee construction and inspection services to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 10-15 years' experience, a 10-hour OSHA course, Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong communication skills. This hybrid role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

• Experience with Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Must have a 10-hour OSHA Safety course and proficient MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
• Manages construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
• Negotiates and approves construction change orders.
• Responds to RFIs
• Prepares proposals and presentations.
• Prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets.
• Prepares and issues reports and correspondence.
• Approves quantities for measurement and payment.
• Approves construction payment applications.
• Resolves technical issues.
• Performs constructability reviews and value engineering.
• Leads Risk Management assessments.
• Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures.

What You Will Do:

What you'll be challenged to do:

With little or no supervision, acts as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects that may include, transportation and transit facilities. Performs assignments that may not be clearly defined and requires the development of construction documents, procedures, and criteria. Performs oversight of multiple projects simultaneously.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Prepares proposals and presentations.

• Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
• Leads Risk Management assessments.

Education | Experience:

What you will bring to our firm:

• 10-15 years' experience
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

What we prefer you bring:

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• PE or CCM preferred

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $140,000- $150,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
