Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support risk management by resolving potential conflicts in new client and matter intake. You will draft waivers, implement information barriers, and collaborate with partners and Professional Responsibility Counsel to assist in bringing in new business.

The role requires 2 years in conflicts or intake, strong written and verbal communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2 years of direct experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to conflicts scenarios and maintain high standards.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, interprets, and summarizes conflict report results.
• Analyzes and resolves potential legal and business conflicts.
• Implements information barriers and ensures proper notification to affected personnel.
• Drafts email waivers and conflict waiver letters for documentation.
• Maintains conflict information in the financial database and related party information.
• Reviews new business intake forms to ensure accuracy and conducts corporate research.
