Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems seeks a full-time Configuration Management Specialist to manage the release and control of engineering data, including drawings, CAD model data, and some software. Based in Bridgeton, MO, the role offers in-person or hybrid work and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.

You will operate the PLM system, support CM processes, report progress, and help implement configuration management across development and production programs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field (CAD data systems) OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with CAD data systems, desirable
• Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing technical data packages
• Ability to work independently under supervision of others
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the release and control of engineering technical data within our PLM system.
• Assist in coordinating the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management systems.
• Utilize product data management tools.
• Assist in the preparation of configuration management contract data submittals to delivery schedules.
• Provide support to the Product Data Manager and Engineering technical staff.
• Regular reporting of progress and status.
• Communicate with other company personnel and the customer as required.
• May analyze proposed design changes to determine the effect on the overall system.
• Support the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
