Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Compensation Application Specialist to manage compensation software across HR, ensuring smooth operation, configuration, and maintenance. The role supports transitioning to Oracle HCM Fusion and coordinating with HR and IT teams for seamless integration.

You will lead system upgrades, provide user support, and develop documentation while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance across compensation tools and reports.

Qualifications

• Experience managing compensation systems or modules.
• Ability to translate compensation policies into system configuration.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills for compensation changes.

Responsibilities

• Understand compensation principles (base pay, incentives, bonuses).
• Configure and support compensation applications and modules.
• Partner with HR, IT and payroll to improve workflows.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and vendor communications.
• Provide end-user support and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, security and compliance in systems.
• Lead testing for new programs and technologies.
• Oversee Oracle HCM transition and integration efforts.
• Generate compensation reports to inform HR decisions.
• Support Core HR and Total Rewards tooling as needed.
