A consulting firm specializing in Oracle solutions is seeking an Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant for a hybrid role in New York City. The role involves providing functional support for the Oracle Cloud Core HR & Compensation modules, engaging in testing and issue resolution, and collaborating with HRSS personnel. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of the core modules, strong analytical skills, and experience with MS Office applications. Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Core HR & Compensation modules is required.
• Implementation of other Oracle Cloud modules is a plus.
• Experience in PeopleSoft HCM is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
• Successfully completed and/or involved in at least three (3) full life-cycle of Oracle Cloud Core HR.

Job description

Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant - Core HR & Compensation

Contract to hire; 6 months. No sponsorship is available.

Location: NYC. Hybrid – 2-3 days a week.

Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Employment type: Contract. Job function: Consulting. Industries: Hospitals and Health Care & Software Development.

This position serves on a team of Oracle Cloud subject matter experts working on the implementation and post go‑live support of the Core HR & Compensation modules within the Oracle Cloud. During the implementation, this person will be responsible for supporting data conversion/validation, various interface and sync strategies, and providing best practice recommendations related to configuration and design. Post go‑live this position will provide production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities, test quarterly releases, and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the software. This role will also provide internal customers such as Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) with the best possible solutions to utilize the system, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems, and provide user support. This person will perform other duties as assigned.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as an ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions
• Ability to prioritize work and promptly resolve or escalating when necessary for Compensation implementations and/or upgrades
• Experience with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Performance Management
