Job summary

Bello Machre in Maryland seeks a Hybrid Community Services Program Director to lead the Community Services department, supervise Direct Support Professionals and Employment Specialists, and ensure person-centered planning and safe, compliant service delivery.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, a preferred Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of two years in human services with supervisory experience, plus CESP and ACRE certifications. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in human services and minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience providing direct care service is strongly preferred.
• CESP certification required.
• 40-hour ACRE certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding support and services for people with developmental disabilities, enabling participation in community life.
• Ensure Person-Centered Plans are up-to-date and reflect each individual on the caseload; ensure staff are trained and implementing the plans.
• Maintain dignity, privacy, and safety; report incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure health and well-being; document medical concerns and emergencies; maintain clinical files.
• Provide supervision for employees; conduct regular supervisory meetings; provide training and support.
