Program Directors (PD) manage and support a caseload of community services individuals, providing care and support to adults and minors with developmental disabilities. Due to the nature of the program hours may be flexible and are based upon the needs of the program and needs of the people and employees supported.
Directly supervises Direct Support Professionals and Employment Specialists assigned to the caseload. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
