Job summary

Collaborative Solutions for Communities in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Community Services to lead program delivery within the Community Services Division. You will oversee youth engagement, workforce development, community partnerships, and incident response while maintaining strong communication with Division staff.

Responsibilities include cultivating partnerships, coordinating outreach and trainings, presenting to schools and community centers, managing data collection and reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related fields preferred.
• Certification in gang prevention/intervention is a plus.
• Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in youth violence outreach/workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new relationships with partners to develop a shared vision.
• Coordinate outreach activities, resident engagement, and CSC representation.
• Attend community meetings to monitor issues and concerns.
• Serve as liaison for referrals into the Workforce Development PEP program.
• Conduct community presentations and trainings at schools, centers, churches.
• Convene routine partner meetings and provide technical support.
• Coordinate partner development and training in service models and communications.
• Ensure Critical Incident Protocol is implemented and data collection is maintained.
• Submit timely programmatic reports.
• Lead weekly supervisory sessions with staff to review cases and actions.
