Job summary

NLACRC is seeking a Consumer Services professional who provides information, advocacy, and service arrangements for consumers and families. You will participate in developing and monitoring program plans, and coordinate services across multiple partners to ensure comprehensive support.

The role requires meeting with individuals and families in homes or communities, often with travel, and a willingness to work in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and at least two years of related experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related subject may be substituted for experience.
• Bilingual Spanish may be required depending upon position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and participate in program plans for individuals; monitor and revise as needed.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Document and report in accordance with NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, service providers, and advocates.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and act with empathy, trust, and respect in diverse settings.
• Rotate officer-of-the-day duties and provide case-coverage as needed; assist with special projects and emergencies.
