Job summary

NLACRC, North Los Angeles County Regional Center, seeks a Consumer Services professional to provide information, advocacy, and service coordination for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will help develop plans, coordinate services, and document per regulations, meeting with families and service providers in various settings. This role emphasizes empathy, cultural sensitivity, and independence within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field.
• Two years of related experience; Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and their families.
• Document forms and reports per NLACRC policies and regulations.
• Serve as an advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, family members, service providers, and advocates.
