Job summary

NLACRC seeks a Consumer Services professional for Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA) to provide information, advocacy, and service coordination for consumers and families. You will help develop plans, coordinate services, and document activities in accordance with NLACRC policies.

Responsibilities include attending interdisciplinary meetings, identifying barriers, and supporting emergency on-call coverage. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with Master’s preferred or substitution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field with 2+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Develop and monitor program plans for individuals; revise as needed.
• Coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Document forms and reports per regulations and NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings with families and service providers.
• Identify barriers and use culturally sensitive strategies; assist in non-traditional settings.
• Rotate officer-of-the-day duties and provide emergency on-call coverage.
